Obituary of Dora Tsigounis

Tsigounis, Dora (nee Papastefanos), age 83 of Totowa at rest in Totowa on January 24, 2024. Beloved wife of John Tsigounis of Totowa. Dear sister of Evanthia Alkiviadis of Cyprus. Sister-in-law of Elias Tsigounis of Toms River. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Born in Pyrgos, Cyprus, she came to United States in 1968 and resided in Totowa. She was the manager for Pappy's Diner, Totowa, for over forty years before retiring in 2020, where she managed seven days a week. She was a member of St. Athanasios Greek Orthodox Church in Paramus. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Anthanasios Greek Orthodox Church, 51 Paramus Road, Paramus, on Tuesday at 12:00 PM. Interment at Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit Tuesday 11:00-12:00 PM at the church. Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Athanasios Greek Orthodox Church, 51 Paramus Road, Paramus, NJ would be appreciated.
