Alessio, Louis J. age 81 of Woodland Park at rest in Wayne on January 14, 2022. Beloved husband of the late Donna (nee Gillespie) Alessio. Loving father of Fr. Louis C. Alessio, Tina DuBois, RoseMary Alessio, Daniel Alessio, Joseph Alessio and the late Vincent Alessio. Dear brother of Patricia Delbosco. Adoring grandfather of Donna DuBois, Lucia DuBois, Rita DuBois, Jean DuBois, Patrick DuBois, Anthony DuBois and Gemma Lindell. Born in Paterson, he lived in West Paterson for most of his life.

He was a custodian for Little Falls Board of Education. He also worked security for Caldor, Woodland Park. Louis was a musician and was a parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua Church, North Caldwell. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Wednesday at 9:15 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Anthony of Padua Church, North Caldwell at 10:00 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit Tuesday 4:00 - 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church, 103 Gould Avenue, North Caldwell, NJ would be appreciated.
