Montoni, Anthony age 68 of Clifton at rest on March 26, 2012. Beloved husband of Kathleen (nee Solesky) Montoni of Clifton. Loving father of Amy Bandejas and her husband George of Indiana, and the late Anthony Montoni (2008). Grandfather of Alissa Bandejas of Indiana. Brother of Rosalie Salerno and her husband Joe of Ogdensburg. Brother in law of Edward Solesky of Chesapeake, VA and Nancy Clarken of Totowa. Survivors include several nieces and nephews. Born in Passaic, he lived in Clifton his whole life. He was a Police Sergeant for the Paterson Police Dept., Paterson, retiring in 1994. Mr. Montoni was a Coast Guard veteran during peacetime and a member of Paterson PBA, Local #1, and the Honor Legion. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend the funeral services at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, NJ 07512 on Thursday at 8 PM and a Military service on Friday at 10 AM. Friends may call Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Cremation is private at the request of the family. In lieu of flowers donations to The Lustgarten Foundation, 1111 Stewart Avenue, Bethpage, NY 11714, would be appreciated.
