Deepest condolences to the Capano family on the loss of their patriarch. Henry was a very fine man, emblematic of "The Greatest Generation"- true to his faith, his country, and his family. His passing leaves a void for the entire community. Rest in peace.

Uncle Hank- thank you so much for being such a great uncle. You were always so kind, a good listener, genuine, grateful, caring and loving. I am forever grateful for the care and friendship that you showed my father. I often think about our walks at Garrett Mountain and the time you took me to the nature museum. You and Aunt Paia have always been so supportive. My love goes out to Aunt Paia, Kathy, Henry, Ken, Matt and their families. Thank you.

Deepest Sympathy to the Capano Family. I was the Secretary for the Methods Dept and to this day, I still call them "My Guys". I'm still with Kearfott and a few "old timers" are here and pass on the condolences.

Ken(Sr.): I am so sorry to hear of your father's passing. I am looking at his photo and now I know from whom you got your good looks. Not only is he handsome he looks very warm and loving. Your are so fortunate to have you had him for these many years. (My father also fought in the European Theatre but never made it home to me. I was 6 mos. old when he died and we never saw each other.) I am in Aruba right now and wish I could be home to help you bid your father farewell. Please know that I have you in my heart. I am sure you will find great comfort in all the memories you hold deep in your heart. With love, Roberta Milstein

Poppy,
Knowing what a great life you have lived puts me at peace. You accomplished so much, loved your family, your wife, your home and you perfectly fit the description of a "good man". You're one of the greatest examples I can look up to. Never once were you mad but rather always telling jokes and commenting on how much you love Grandma even up to a month ago. I am so lucky to have such a heroic and brave grandpa, and I'll miss you so much (especially laughing at all your jokes). Like my cousins and sisters, my fondest memories of you are walking to the park, crossword puzzles, and the game where you would squeeze us between your legs. Rest in Peace, say Hi to Nonno for me, and look down at us always.
I love you,
Emily.

The "Greatest Generation" loses another hero, but the lessons of your quiet dignity and strength will stay with us forever. A great role model for your children and grandchildren and those of us who were privileged to know you.
Peace and eternal life await you in heaven. Farewell.

You are one of the greatest gifts of my life. You were goodness in all things. Quiet, strong, humble, dedicated, talented, devoted, you were everything we needed and wanted and you were always there. The world has lost a very good man, and we will miss you greatly. We mourn with the comfort that you walked by faith and rest in God’s care. I love you and will always be “Daddy’s little girl.

Pop,
You were an amazing grandfather to my cousins and I. Some of my most vivid memories are of our camping trips in the RV, doing puzzles at your house, playing the leg game while you sat on your chair, and taking walks to the park. As a child, you never failed to make us laugh. As an adult, I was able to really see the genuine person that you were and the honorable life you have lived. You loved my grandma so much, thank you for giving us such a strong family. Rest in heaven and your soul will always live. I love you.

I will always remember when I was little, the times we had when we lit sparklers in his back yard for the Fourth of July, the Easter egg hunts, the vacations at the beach with the RV, the walks we had in the park behind his house, and my favorite memory is the famous Double Whammy Kiss: When both Grandma and Grandpa would pick me up and they would both kiss my cheeks constantly to make me laugh. I will miss him with all my heart, but I know he is up there with my Dad, Richard A. Capano watching over all of us. I Love You Grandpa and I will Miss you!
Your Grandson,
Travis
