Obituary of Angelo Grosso

Grosso, Angelo age 83 of Totowa at rest in Totowa on October 23, 2010. Beloved husband of the former Evelyn M. Salamone of Totowa. Loving Father of Adelaide Fiorarancio and her husband Giovanni of Totowa, Adriana Agnihotri and her husband Vincent of Franklin Lakes, Michael Grosso and his wife Alexis of Woodland Park and Emil Grosso and his wife Kathryn of Wyckoff. Grandfather of eleven and Great Grandfather of three. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Born in Cetraro, Prov. di Cosenza, Italy, he came to the U.S.A. in 1956 settling in Paterson before moving to Totowa in 1963. He was a Foreman for Sterling Textile & Dye Co., Paterson, for many years before retiring in 1983. Mr. Grosso was a member of Dyers Local # 1733, Paterson and the Italian-American Independent Club, Totowa. He was an avid soccer fan and gardener and he loved to hunt and enjoyed the outdoors. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Tuesday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James R.C. Church, Totowa at 9:30 AM. Entombment at Laurel Grove Memorial Park Mausoleum, Totowa. Friends may call Monday 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 PM.
