Dear Nonno,
I will always remember the many hugs and kisses exchanged as I entered the kitchen for Saturday lunch and greeted you first at the head of the table. Walking up to the corner store and getting to play scratch offs and eat candy were only some of the many wonderful memories I have with you. I'll never forget playing in your office and climbing in and out of the table in the living room which all the grandchildren made their little fortress, while you sat in your big brown chair and rooted on the Italian soccer team on TV. The garden, the grapes, and the little red shed will never leave my memory and will always be connected with you. I hope your life above is as filled with as much beauty as the one you shared with us on earth. We miss you and love you.
A proud granddaughter,
Ori

I have very fond memories of many dinners together as I was growing up. My father and Angelo were like brothers, always looking out for each other. May the both rest in peace. All my love to the family.

Dear Adriana and your family,
Please accept my sympathy and best wishes as you both mourn and celebrate the life of Angelo Grosso. I know his passing is painful, but as I reviewed his obituary, I was struck by what a full and rich life he had. Please know that I am praying for you now.

The Team At Sedgwick posted a condolence
Dear Grosso Family:
Although we never had the privilege of knowing Angelo, we know his daughter, Adriana, well, and surely we know much about Angelo through Adriana. The loss of a parent, grandfather, and great grandfather is painful, but in reading the obituary we were all struck by how much about Angelo's life there is to celebrate. His story seems so fundamentally American, having immigrated from Italy in the 50's, and situated himself with his wife Evelyn, and then his four children, as the kind of salt-of-the-earth hardworking citizen that has made our country great. And yet, he seems to be have been so Italian, with a full house of children, then grandchildren, and then even great grandchildren. The holidays with the Grossos must have been, and will continue to be,so delightfully and joyously chaotic. All of us at Sedgwick pray for comfort for his wife and family, and celebrate a great life, of which we've had just a taste through our friendship with Adriana. God Bless Angelo and His Family. Yours friends at Sedgwick.

Nonno-My dad always told me "It's a good thing your grandfather came to this country." As I grew up I finally understood what that really meant. You have raised a beautiful family and because of you I have had many opportunities to live and grow and see the world. I am so proud to call myself a Grosso. I will never forget all of the memories of coming to your house. It was a second home, a place for the family to gather together to eat good food, enjoy good company, laugh, cry, and truly be a family. I hope you are in a peaceful place now, rest easy, and look over us and we will continue to make you proud! Love you always and forever

Nonno,
You sat at the head of the table, you are the head of our family, and the person that made my life what it is today. You created our strong family. You treated my cousins and I like angels. You worked so hard and brought us to America and gave us this life. I will never forget growing up at your house, out in the garden, under the grape vine, in your office, on your chair. Fly away to heaven, please save a place for me. I love you.

Nonno, I will always remember going to your house when I was little and playing cards or singing ring around the rosie in Italian around the table. I could never forget when you would say "Hi Doll" to me every time we greeted. I will miss you very much, but I know you are looking down at us. Love your youngest grandchild-Emily.

Grandnonno,
I miss you so much. I never really got to know you that well, only knowing you for 8 years (unlike my other cousins!). I hope that one day we will meet again and I will never forget you, ever.
