Hi dad I can't believe it's been one month already. Time really does fly it still doesn't seem real yet. Me and sue were at your house the other day we laughed and cried. Today we joked about how you always said to us you too are going to get in trouble and that you will have to come and get us out of trouble "if you know what I mean so far so good." I go to your house and wish you were there. I think of things I want to tell you. And go to call you but then remember I can't . I have so much I want to tell you. But I guess I should go now . Just know how much I love and miss you

Our dearest Benny, also known as Old Fart to me and Gampa to the girls. Louie and I will miss you deeply, as will Holly, Darci and even George. Oh my gosh...when you were coming for breakfast or a visit to fix something or even if a white van would pass the house, the girls got so excited when I said "Gampa's here" and would wag their tails like there's no tomorrow. You would sneak them most of your breakfast and when I told you that they were too fat, you told me they were just perfect. Thanks for being our BEST MAN, like a dad to me after I lost mine and one of Louie's closest friends. Thanks for all your handy work around the house when Louie couldn't figure things out. We all love you like crazy and will miss you worse. I'm so glad we got to see you for a few precious moments before you passed. We wouldn't forgive ourselves if we hadn't been there. Be at peace and our deepest sympathies to your family.

I knew Benny through my sister Barbara and brother-in-law, Louie who was a great friend of his. Always so friendly and wearing a big smile. What can we say,
From the time we met Benny about 23 years ago we learned quickly that he was a loving person who lived for his family. He was a friend to everyone who crossed his path. We'll always remember Benny and his smile, and now he'll watch over us from above.
He will be missed.
