Dear Girls, We really wanted to come and express our sympathy to you personally, but Don is still on the road trying to get home. We are praying for you during this time of loss. You were so faithful with your Dad. We always saw him at the CHCC when we visited Dow Drukker. And Don remembers your Dad from calling on his store in Paterson when he worked for Proctor & Gamble selling Tide soap. Now your Dad is at Peace. Always keep your faith in Jesus for your Eternal Rest. Blessings, Joanne & Don

Dear Chris, Charlene, Linda, Mary Lou and Family,
We would like to express our heartfelt sympathy to you at this most difficult time. The beautiful Shadiack family is the legacy that your father has left behind. He was a wonderful man who provided a loving home for his family. May all the special memories remain in your hearts as your father/grandfather/great-grandfather loves and guides you from the eternal kingdom that we all hope to attain one day. God bless you.
Love,
June and Dennis

The measure of a man is not how he died, but how he lived, not what he had, but what he gave. He was always ready with a word of encouragement or a smile. What greater gift is there than to be remembered as someone who gave of himself. Joe, you are loved and remembered by all who knew you.
Love, Thom, Toni & Michelle

Dear Chris, Charlene, Linda and family,
It has been an honor to have known your wonderful Dad. When I was in your dad's company, I knew immediately that he was concerned about his daughters and family.
Your goal always was to provide your Dad with a warm, safe, and loving environment
which you achieved every single day of his life.
My condolences to the entire Shadiack family. Your Dad and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
God Bless Joseph Shadiack.

Grandpa always had a smile on his face and you could tell that his happiness was sincere. He was the type of grandparent who would always make us feel welcome whenever we visited. Some folks get cranky when they get on in years but not him. Even his great grandchildren looked forward to seeing him because they could sense what a fine and joyful person he was.
My grandfather was a truly wonderful man and he will be missed. Love, Randy, Nancy, Ryan & Kasey

Daddy,
Oh, how much we miss you! You were a GREAT man and LOVING father. You dedicated all of your life to your family and taught us such beautiful values. Our lives will be forever empty with you not in them.
Understand that you "did good" and that everyone was richer that they knew "Joe"!
"O-kay, O-kay "
Love,
Your Daughters

I fondly remember working with my uncles at Shadiack Brothers and being in awe of how Uncle Joe could so quickly add up a grocery order in his head. Uncle Joe also set a good example by being so diligent about his health. I am fortunate to have gotten to know Uncle Joe and I will miss him very much.
God bless you and keep you.

Missing someone gets easier everyday.
Because, even though it is one day further
from the last time you saw each other,
it is one day closer to the next time you will.

My thoughts and prayers are with you during your time of
grief. Rest with the peace of knowing he is in a much better place and is holding his hand upon all of you.
Joseph,God saw you were getting tired, and a cure was not meant to be
So he put his arms around you, and whispered come with me
With tearful eyes we watched you, as we saw you pass away
Although we love you deeply, we could not make you stay
Your golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest
God broke our hearts to prove to us... He only takes the best.

Although I'm just finding out about Mr. Shadiack's transition, he and his brothers were our neighborhood store. They were so friendly, loving, caring, and most of all generous. They extended credit to a large number of families that lived in or near the Alexander Hamilton Housing development. Whenever there was a school field trip or some other function that require food, they'd always extend my mother credit until her next paycheck. If it weren't for the generosity of the Shadiack brothers, I know my sister and I would've gone hungry, at least for a little while. And I know a large number of people that lived in AHP and the area, can attest to the brothers kindness. They truly believe in the word family. We were all like his extended family. I'd bet my life that he's with the Lord Thy God, at this very moment! I can't wait to see you again, my forever friend!
