If I could get another chance
Another walk
Another dance with him
I'd play a song that would never ever end
How I'd love love love
To dance with my father again

Uncle Vic...You lovingly captured so many Pomante family memories with your creative heart and soul.
Our loss is Heaven's gain...
Please give Our Loved Ones Hugs and Kisses, especially Our Dad & Mom...they will take good care of You and introduce You to the other Angelic Pisans in the neighborhood!!!

God Saw You Getting Tired
and a cure was not to be
so he put his arms around you
and whispered,
"Come to Me"
With tearful eyes we watched you and saw you pass away
and although we love you dearly
we could not make you stay.
A Golden heart stopped beating
hard working hands at rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes the best.
Love you Great Grandpa

The memory that always makes me smile is the time we were playing Pokeno. I was so close to winning and all of a sudden Poppy stands up and yells "Mama Mama Mio, Poppy's got POKENO. I laugh everytime I remember that.

My favorite memory of my Poppy is I was riding down Route 46 and ran out of gas. I pulled over on the shoulder and there was Poppy with a can of gas saying "you ran out of gas didn't you."

I am one of the luckiest people in the world to have had the BEST GRANDFATHER ever! I remember, I wouldn't even be done with my dinner yet before he was asking me if I'd like ice cream. Poppy, thank you so much for the wonderful memories. Words could never describe how much you will be missed. I love you!!

I am lighting a candle for my dad though no light could ever shine as bright as my love and memories of a wonderful loving father who had a way of making each of us feel that we were special even down to his youngest great grandchild. You will be missed.

Victor was a gentle, loving, caring man, and a good role model for all of his children who he loved so dearly. What a Blessing it was for him and his wife to see all their children grow up and have families of their own and be successful. I know how grateful for the love he shared with you all-a love that will continue through years to come. Treasure all the loving memeories you have of him and may it warm your hearts. My best memory as a child with my grandfather has got to be the time he let me walk a crab on a leash. I was around 5 years old and I did not want the crab to die so instead, I made it a pet. Think it lasted like 30minutes before his legs started falling off.
