Messineo, Michael Paul age 26 of Cedar Grove at rest in Hackensack on May 9, 2007. Beloved son of Dennis and Joanne (nee Fernandez) Messineo of Cedar Grove. Brother of Kyle Messineo of Cedar Grove. Grandson of Joseph and Ann Fernandez of Totowa. Nephew of Karen Jacobsen of Montville and Tom Messineo of Totowa. Cousin of Kimberly Slezak of Montville. Born in Ridgewood, NJ he lived in Cedar Grove all of his life. He was a self-employed freelance event planner in association with MTV, New York City, NY. He was also a sales rep. for Land America for 3 years. He produced a video for the Red Hot Chili Peppers. He was a graduate of William Paterson University in Wayne, NJ where he received his Bachelors Degree in Communications. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Monday at 8:45 A.M. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James R.C.
