Guarnaccia, Betty (nee Messina) age 87 of Wayne at rest in Wayne on May 7, 2007. Born in Brooklyn, NY she lived in Paterson for most of her life. Mrs. Guarnaccia was a homemaker. She was also a member of the St. Gerard Senior Citizens Club, Paterson. Beloved wife of 63 years to Thomas Guarnaccia. Mother of Janice Dziezawiec of Paterson, Arlene Guarnaccia and Nancy Fitzgerald both of Pompton Plains, NJ. Grandmother of Joy Burke of GA, Jill Robinson of NJ and Brian and Jeffrey Fitzgerald of NJ. Great grandmother of Emma Robinson. Sister of Rosalie Cropanese of West Paterson, NJ and several late brothers and late sisters. Survivors include many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Friday at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may call Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Donations to the Alzheimer's Association, Greater NJ Chapter, 400 Morris Ave., Suite 251, Denville, NJ 07834-1365 would be appreciated.
