Affinito, Joseph Pete age 89 of Paterson at rest in Ridgewood on May 7, 2007. Born in Pittsburgh, PA., he lived most of his life in Paterson. He was Owner/Proprietor of Banner Warehouse Inc. Paterson for many years before retiring in 1987. Mr. Affinito was a WWII army veteran serving in the European Theater and was the receipient of the Silver Star. He was a founding member of the Riverside Vets, Paterson. He was also a parishioner of St. Gerard R.C. Church and a member of its Senior Club. Beloved husband of the former Antoinette E. Malizia. Father of Joseph Affinito and his wife Christine of Clifton and Peter D. Affinito and his wife Christina of Clifton. Grandfather of Joseph Damon Affinito and his wife Cindie, Karen, P.J. and David Affinito. Brother of Florence Bizzaro and Anthony Affinito both of Totowa. Also surviving are many Nieces and Nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Wednesday at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Gerard R.C. Church, Paterson at 10:00 AM. Interment at Calvary Cemetery, Paterson. Friends may call Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
