We will always remember you as our companion on the faith journey. Thank God for the blessing of your good deeds. Then I heard a voice from heaven say, "Write: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on." "Yes," says the Spirit, "they will rest from their labor, for their deeds will follow them." Rev 14:13

Most memorable to us is how you have selflessly shared with us your time, your thoughts, your prayers, and just about your life, many years ago as our household leader in CFC. You have imprinted in our hearts "how to love and serve God". That is how we have learned to have meaningful lives. For this we are grateful, Danny. It is a comfort to us that you are now in the loving arms of our Lord.

I met Danny sometime in 1991 and I learned that they were holding household meetings once a week (3 couples, all CFC CLP graduates in Manila). Me and my wife joined their household and little did I know that Danny would become my closest friend and like a brother to me. Over the years we kept that friendship, not only between us but his and my family as well. His children and our children grew up together. I most especially admired his love for the Lord, his family and dedication to his service. I remember holding a CLP in Long Island every weekend and we would come home at 2 in the morning then go to work the next day. He never complained. He was quiet but we shared some moments of laughter and humorous jokes. One day, in a very casual manner he told us that he was "dying". My wife and I looked at each other and did not know what to make of it. Was it a joke? I realized later on that he might have been sending a message, maybe preparing us for "the day". My only regret is that I was not able to tell him "I love you" when I last saw him in his hospital bed. So long Danny, you will be missed terribly. I LOVE YOU.

Dearest Family of Danny Rodriguez,
I join with so many others who knew my cousin and kumpareng Danny in offering our deepest sympathy on his passing. Although it is little consolation at this sad time, it should be of some satisfaction to know that in his passing you can celebrate the end of a very productive life.
The measure of a life well lived is not how much money one has or what possessions
they have accumulated, but rather through the lives they touched and the sorrow they leave behind. If the outpouring of sympathy on his loss is any indication, and it most certainly is, you can proudly and confidently say that his indeed was a life well lived.
May you find peace and comfort in knowing that his loss is felt by all who knew and loved him.
In Sympathy,
Rino. Rose, Jeff, Justin and Jed Salazar Of Juneau, Alaska
