Handzo and his wife Christine and Denise Nelson and her husband Dean. Grandfather of Rachel and Bradley Nelson. Brother of George Handzo Jr. and Daniel Handzo and his wife Rose. Survivors include nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Tuesday at 9:00 AM. For more information go to www.festamemorial.com OBITUARY John Handzo age 80 of Totowa died Friday. Born in Wilkes-Barre, PA he lived in Totowa for most of his life. He was a Journeyman Construction Welder for Curtiss Wright Corp., Wood-Ridge, NJ for 36 years before retiring in 1979. He was a W.W. II, Korean War Navy Veteran, Plank Ownership, aboard the U.S.S. Alaska. He was a member of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Garfield where he was an usher and an Elder and was involved in their Finance Committee. He was a member of the Totowa Boro 1st Aid Squad and the Happy Seniors of Totowa. He was a volunteer at Chilton Memorial Hospital, Pequannock. Mr. Handzo was also a member of the Masonic Lodge # 154, Mountain View. Preceeding him in death was his wife: Marva K. (Kaskus) Handzo Survivors include: A son: Michael G.
