D'Amelio, Anthony of Toms River formerly of Paterson at rest in Toms River on November 12, 2006. Beloved husband of the former Anne Rusciano. Father of Angelo A. D'Amelio and his wife Donna and Toni Ann Hammer and her husband Kenneth. Brother of Rose Festa. Grandfather of Anthony DAmelio, Richie and Kristen Shutt and Kenny and Toni Marie Hammer. Also surviving are several Nieces and Nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Thursday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James R.C. Church, Totowa at 9:30 AM. Entombment at Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum, Paterson. Friends may call Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Please omit flowers. OBITUARY
Anthony D'Amelio age 83 of Toms River died Sunday. Born in Sala Consilina, Prov. di Salerno, Italy he came to the U.S.A. in 1929 settling in Paterson before moving to Toms River. He was a Color Mixer for Jersey Dye & Finishing Co., Paterson, NJfor many years before retiring in 1978. Mr. DAmelio was a World War II Navy veteran. He received the Victory Medal, the Asiatic Pacific Theater Medal 9 Stars, the Philippine Liberation Ribbon 2 Stars, the American Theater Medal and 2 Letters of Accommodation.

Also surviving are 5 Grandchildren, a Daughter in Law, a Son in Law and several Nieces and Nephews.
