Mecca, Anthony J. of Totowa at rest in Livingston on October 17, 2006. Beloved husband of the former CaroleToner. Father of Marissa Mecca. Son of Angela (nee Manzella) Mecca and the late Joseph A. Mecca. Brother of Joseph Mecca, and his wife, Nancy and Maria Vallace and her husband, Paul. Nephew of Michael Mecca and Filomena Malanga. Son in law of Isabelle Toner. Also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Saturday at 8:45 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James RC Church, Totowa at 9:30 AM. Interment at Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may call Thursday 7-9 PM and Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. OBITUARY
Anthony J. Mecca age 52 of Totowa died Tuesday. Born in Brooklyn, NY he lived in Totowa his entire life. He was the owner/operator of AJ Mecca Trucking, Inc., Totowa, NJ. Mr. Mecca was a member of the Totowa Volunteer Fire Company #1, where he was the past assistant chief. He was currently the Vice President of the entire Totowa Fire Department.
