Barbara was a true friend. She was always ready to help anyone.
She always saw the glass half full and inspired everyone with her strong faith in God.
She touched everyone's life in a special way.
When my mother passed away unexpectedly, Barbara came to me and gave me a little Teddy Bear to hug with a poem about the loss of a loved one becoming an angel in heaven. She saw my tears and comforted me many times.
Whenever I needed help, she was always there.
I know she has a place in heaven.

Barb was a good friend a geat nurse. She will be missed by all of her co workers at the Paterson Division of Health. She will also be missed by the citizens of Paterson who she selflessly served. She would buy coffee every morning for a homeless man and pay for taxi rides for her clients when they had no way to get to a doctors appointment. Barbara always looked out for her patients if it was a food voucher to be given or cloths for the families Barbara always made sure that they received what ever she could give them. We were at a home, of one of her patients, one day, when an 11 yr old girl had just got her ears pierced. The mother could only afford nickle earings and you could see that the child was having a reation to them. Barbara had the child remove these earings, go the the doctor and replaced them with 14k gold earings. Barbara had a heart that was 14k gold. God Bless her, she worked tirelessly for many people, especially those who had no voice, no money and no where else to turn. Barbara we will miss you.

I knew Barbara through her work on kead prevention as part of a coalition dedicated to ending lead poisoning in children in Northern New Jeersey. She was a woman of great practical sense in these meetings, with extensive health knowledge and above all a compassion and understanding of people, no matter how poor and struggling. She will be missed by me and I imagine a number of Paterson residents for the good she did.

Mom,
You need only to look around the church to see how many people that you touched in your life and how much you were loved. I will miss you, but rejoice that you are once again with daddy. Say hi to Gram and Uncle John for me. Watch over us all and I look forward to when are together again. I'll put a shortbread cookie out for you this year at christmas. Come visit me anytime and when I feel a swift kick in the ass, I'll know that you're there.
I love you.
