Tarantino, Elvira (nee Nazzaro) of Easton, PA formerly of Totowa at rest in Bethlehem, PA on September 1, 2006. Beloved wife of the late Nicholas Tarantino. Mother of John Tarantino and Dolores Scerbo. Sister of Catherine Scarduzzio, Eleanor Lorenz, Josephine Christie and William Nazzaro. Grandmother of Christopher Tarantino, Eric Tarantino, Alyssa Dominique, Ernest Scerbo and Nicholas Scerbo. Great-grandmother of Ines Dominique, Gianna Dominique, Dominic Scerbo and Nicholas Scerbo. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Wednesday at 9:00 A.M. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James R.C. OBITUARY Elvira (nee Nazzaro) Tarantino age 97 of Easton, PA formerly of Totowa died Friday. Born in Boston, Mass she lived most of her life in Totowa. She was a Seamstress in Paterson and a homemaker. Mrs. Tarantino was a founding member of the I.L.G.W.U., Paterson and a founding member of the Ladies Auxiliary Italian American Club, Totowa. She was predeceased by her husband Nicholas Tarantino. Survivors include: A son: John Tarantino of Stirling, NJ A daughter: Dolores Scerbo of Easton, PA 3 sisters: Catherine Scarduzzio of Johnston, RI, Eleanor Lorenz of Johnston, RI, Josephine Christie of Johnston, RI A brother: William Nazzaro of Tucson, Arizona Also survived by 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
