Pohanish, Joseph M. of Fair Lawn formerly of Paterson at rest in Fair Lawn on August 1, 2005. Father of Joseph Pohanish Jr. Brother of Barbara Pohanish, Robert E. Pohanish and Tom Pohanish. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Friday at 8:30 A.M. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Bonaventure R.C. Church, Paterson at 9:00 A.M. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may call Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. Born in Scranton, PA he lived most of his life in Paterson, NJ before moving to Fair Lawn. He was a Meat Manager for Foodtown Supermarkets, in various locations and was a Peacetime Navy veteran. Survivors include: A son: Joseph Pohanish Jr. of South Jersey A sister: Barbara Pohanish of Washington Township, NJ 2 brothers: Robert E. Pohanish of Wanaque, NJ Tom Pohanish of Dunmore, PA Also survived by nieces and nephews. Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa is in charge of arrangements.
