Zarek and a loving daughter in law, Denise. Grandfather of Michael and Pamela Breitenbach and Kellie, Danny and Nicole Zarek.. Born in Paterson, NJ he lived in Paterson then Totowa for 32 years before residing in West Paterson for the past 19 years. He was V.P of Marketing for Star Stainless Screw Company, Totowa, NJ for 52 years before retiring. He was a member of the American Legion Post #227, Totowa and the Passaic Valley Elks Lodge #2211, Totowa. Mr. Zarek was an army veteran where he received the National Defense Service Medal. Survivors include his wife: Jeanmarie (nee Layden) Zarek A daughter: Mary Kay Breitenbach 2 sons: Anthony J. Zarek Joseph A. Zarek Also survived by 5 grandchildren and a daughter-in-law.
