Dueltgen, William Bill E. of Naples, Florida at rest in Croton on the Hudson, New York on May 10, 2004. Beloved husband of the late Mildred G. (nee Grassi). Father of Dennis T. Dueltgen, Jeffrey A. Dueltgen, Joanne M. Dietz and the late William E. Dueltgen II. Grandfather of William E. Dueltgen III, Craig Dueltgen, Deanne Dueltgen, Darryl Dueltgen, Jon Luke Dueltgen. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Thursday at 8:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Bonaventure R.C. Church, Paterson at 9:00 AM. Interment at Fairview Cemetery, Fairview, NJ. Friends may call Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. OBITUARY
William E. Dueltgen age 83 of Naples, Florida died Monday. Born in Union City, NJ he lived in Union City until 1953 then in West Paterson for many years before moving to Florida. He was the Chief of the Archives Unit for the United Nations, N.Y.C., N.Y. for 33 years before retiring in 1979. Mr. Dueltgen was an original employee of the United Nations since 1946 and belonged to the United Nations Mohican Society. He was a W.W. II Army Combat Veteran. He was a member of the American Legion, West Paterson Post. He received an American Defense Service Medal. He received the European-African Middle Eastern Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. He was a member of the Robert E. Kennedy 38th St. Veterans, Union City, NJ. He was a former parishioner of St. Bonaventures Church, Paterson.
