Father of David D'Alessandro, O.D., Anne Marie Marchi, Phyllis Trovato, Linda Lajterman, and Teresa Iuculano. Brother of Lina Costantino, Anna Maria Caraccia, Salvatore D'Alessandro, Francesco D'Alessandro, and Remo D'Alessandro. Father in law of Frank Trovato, Peter Iuculano, and Tito Lajterman. Grandfather of Dana, Justin, Tara, Michael, Frankie, Andrea, Lea, Dara, and Danny. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Monday at 10:00 AM. Di Aquila, Italy he came to the United States in 1950 residing in Paterson before moving to Totowa in 1955. He was a 1st Class Maintenance Mechanic for S.B.Thomas & Co. Inc, Totowa, NJ for 20 years before retiring in 1990. He was also a member of the S.B. Thomas Fire Brigade. He was a trumpet player for the Tony Neglia Band for many years. Mr. DAlessandro was a parishioner of St. James R.C. Church, Totowa, NJ. He was a member of the Retired Bakery & Confectionary Union Local #50, Maryland. He was a member of the American Federation of Musicians Local #248, Paterson, NJ. He belonged to the Society of Pacentro, Paterson for 47 years and past president for 14 years. He was a member of the American Immigrant Wall of Honor - Ellis Island. Survivors include his wife: The former Mary Maria A. Giustino of Totowa A son: David D'Alessandro O.D. of West Paterson, NJ 4 daughters: Anne Marie Marchi of Wanaque, NJ, Phyllis Trovato of Bethlehem, PA, Linda Lajterman of Ramsey, NJ, Teresa Iuculano of Wayne, NJ 2 sisters: Lina Costantino of West Virginia Anna Maria Caraccia of Australia 3 brothers: Salvatore D'Alessandro of Totowa, NJ, Francesco D'Alessandro of Totowa, NJ, Remo D'Alessandro of Totowa, NJ Also survived by 9 grandchildren.
