Obituary of Monica Catherine Phalon

Phalon, Monica Catherine (nee Madigan), age 89 of Wayne at rest in Wayne on January 7, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Robert Phalon (2008). Loving mother of Suzanne McArdle and her husband Gregory of FL, Michael Phalon and his wife Colleen of Highland Lakes, Robert Phalon of Wayne, and the late Patrice Fraone (1986). Dear grandmother of Derek, Ryan, and Keelin McArdle, Alexander, David, and Anna Phalon, and Daniel Phalon. Born in Passaic, she lived in Nutley for 21 years, then in Paterson, before recently moving to Wayne. She was an insurance broker for Eastern Insurers, Midland Park, for 20 years before retiring in 2009. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Thursday at 9:45 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at Our Lady of The Valley RC Church, Wayne at 10:30 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit Wednesday 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
