I have so many memories of Ellen, having spent nearly every Christmas with her from the year I was born until I moved across the country 6 years ago. She made a delicious pistachio cake. She saw her idol, Barry Manilow, 100 times. She loved her big brothers dearly and made sure she kept the family together—a promise she had made to her mother. To say Ellen loved dogs is an understatement. Her laugh was infectious. She found the most obnoxious, noisy toys for her nephews, and would even get one for my Dad, a kid at heart. And she carried that tradition on to my son, her great nephew. She was fun, generous, and had a great sense of humor. May she be at peace and her memory be a blessing❤️
