Obituary of Bruce G Corrado

Corrado, Bruce G. age 74 of Paterson at rest in Paterson on August 19, 2024. Beloved husband of fourteen years to the former Amada Y. Medrano of Paterson. Loving father of Dominit "Nini" Mejia of Monroe, N.Y. Loving grandfather of Christopher Munoz and Sophia Munoz. Dear brother of Frank Corrado and his longtime partner Janice Lightner of Little Falls. Loving grandfather of Christopher Munoz and Sophia Munoz. Former brother in law of Jane Corrado of Victor, N.Y. Uncle of Dan Corrado and his wife Katie and Jaclyn Corrado, all of Victor, N.Y. Grand uncle of Nathan Corrado, Ryan Corrado and Evan Corrado. Also surviving is his beloved pet dog, Bella. Born in Paterson, he lived in Paterson his entire life. Bruce was an elementary school teacher for the Paterson Board of Education, School #24, Paterson, for many years before retiring in 2010. He was a graduate of William Paterson College and a member of the Omega Fraternity. He was an avid N.Y. Giants fan as well as an avid movie buff and enjoyed going to the movie theater. Bruce traveled the world extensively in his younger years. He was a humorist and he had a very big heart and took care of everyone including family and friends alike. He was a very loving and caring person and cherished all time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Friday, August 23, 2024 at 10:00 AM. Committal service to follow at Cedar Lawn Crematory Chapel, Paterson. Friends may visit on Thursday, August 22, 2024 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
