Obituary of Charles C. Festa, Jr

Festa, Charles C. Jr, age 94 of Paterson at rest in Paterson on July 26, 2024. Beloved husband of the late, Rose Mary (nee Avigliano) Festa (2002). Loving father of Charles C. Festa III and his wife Alisa, Marc A. Festa, and Dr. Steven Festa and his wife Rowena. Adoring grandfather of Michael C. Festa, Thomas Festa, Alexandra Festa, and Carina Festa. Dear companion of Dobrinka Milef. Loving brother of Robert P. Festa, June Leonardi, and his late siblings Nicholas Festa, James Festa, Rose Pollara Di Lisi, Col. Donald Festa, and Peter Festa. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, godchildren and his devoted caretakers Minerva Florentino and Francisco Daniel Sosa. Born in Paterson, he was a lifelong city resident. He was a self-employed attorney for Charles C. Festa, Attorney at Law, Paterson and Little Falls, for many years. He was also the associate counsel for the Passaic County Board of Social Services. He served and was honorably discharged from the US Army and worked for the CIA. Charles was a member of the New Jersey Bar Association, the Italian Circle, Paterson and the Levine Breakfast Club, Paterson. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Friday at 9:15 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Mary's RC Church, Paterson at 10:00 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit Thursday 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Association, would be appreciated.
