Hey, Uncle Leo. You are a man...who sought to find growth...in a world...where many, became bitter.
Trials and tribulations...while young. You sought the wisdom and the glory of God...to guide you to pastures of wisdom and kindness. Aunt Mimi...was your joy.
And Bingo traveled behind.
Love of family and friends...ok and the track...and cooking encompassed your world! Your neighbors were family, too!
Be at peace, Uncle Leo. Give kisses to Aunt Mimi, throw a tire for Marge and me...to Bingo...and gather all the fam for some pasta...and welcome you home! All our love...

Leo, There are not enough words to describe how much you meant to our entire family. We moved next to you and Mary almost 26 years ago. We were neighbors who became friends and then family. You were there through celebrations and sad times. I will always cherish our talks about your childhood and how much history you taught me about life during those times. I loved hearing all the stories about you and Mary, from when you were dating, to the snowstorm on your wedding day and how your wedding guests got sandwiches to eat. We witnessed you being heartbroken when Mary got sick and cried with you as you told us how she passed in your arms. The only consolation now is that you are reunited with Mary, the love of your life. We knew you didn’t want to be here without her and were just biding your time to be together again.
You celebrated each of our children’s marriages and the births of our grandchildren. Harry, Isla and Molly will always remember the Hershey bars you gave them every time you saw them and they will always look for you sitting on your deck waving and talking to them while they are swimming in the pool. You especially loved Harry’s name and always asked about them and our kids every single time we talked, even if it was days apart. You constantly worried about us, the years spent watching Christina getting picked up and dropped off by the school bus when you would ‘just happen’ to be outside doing yard work at drop off times, making sure she got in the house ok while I was at work. You worried about Ken smoking and working too hard, but always came to him first when something needed fixing in your house and especially Mary’s car which you could not bring yourself to give up. We will not say goodbye, I know you are rejoicing in Heaven and I know for sure that we will meet again someday. Thank you for everything. May you rest in eternal peace with Mary by your side. Much love, Lynn, Ken, Christina, Kolleen, AJ, Kenny, Maria, Kaitlyn, Andrew, Harry, Isla and Molly❤️

We cannot express words...for the words...you expressed about Uncle Leo. He was a piece of work!
Many of us, are not right around the corner...but WE knew you...were right next door...his surrogate family.
We had easier access...before COVID.
Perhaps, it was his way...of retreating...he wasn't feeling well, too.
We used to call him...the hawk...because he seemed to be keeping his eyes on us, too! We remember...all too well!
He was AS blessed...to have you!
We are, too!

Leo, a great guy, a good friend. We got along at PS #2 and enjoyed each other's trips to AC. Unfortunately our last phone call a couple of months ago will have to be our goodbye. You will be missed

Dear Steve,
Thank you so much, for being such a dear friend to Uncle Leo. He was a trip...but then again, lol.
You are never far from my memory! One of the greatest teachers, period...one of the few...who inspired me...to follow in your footsteps! Please. I'm hoping you and your family are doing, well! We will miss him...dearly.
