My dear Uncle Butch,
Sense of humor, exuberant energy, youthful attitude, playful and kind. His hilarious stories, and limitless jokes, always kept the conversation lively, and the party going.
My uncle’s eyes lit up when the love of his life, my beautiful Aunt Rosie, entered the room. They opened their door to everyone, creating a warm and inviting “home” for family, friends and strangers. Rose and Butch were truly an inspirational couple, and I am so lucky to have had them in my life. They will forever remain in my heart.
As I reminisce, so many sweet memories come to mind. One in particular, (though silly), stands out. In high school French, one of my vocabulary words was “mon oncle “ (my uncle). Thinking back, I probably drove him crazy “practicing “ over, and over, and over…
Uncle Butch always kept his sense of humor and wonderful demeanor, getting a kick out of my (let’s call it) progress. I’ve never forgotten that, and I will never forget him.
