So many fond memories of "Zitsi Belle" (an abomination of Italian for Auntie Annabelle) as she was referred to at our house growing up. How was it that I was always in the car first when being babysat and going to pick up Judy at St. Bon's? It was so exciting for me at the time! I remember driving one afternoon to the property at Cape May and when we got out of the car and stood there, all I could see was water all around. I remember the parties at the brick house on Mt. Pleasant Ave - the fabulous food and all the laughter and happiness that was always around Annabelle. My first Manhattan was poured at the kitchen table from the Franciscan dinnerware pitcher while she and Tressa were making dinner. It's still my drink of choice! I will certainly miss my "second" mom and will always love her for being the special friend she was to my mom...a truly fabulous lady! Much love, Christa
