Obituary of Josefina Castro

Castro, Josefina age 91 of Paterson at rest in Paterson on February 11, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Macario Castro (1985). Loving mother of Rosemarie Ocasio. Devoted grandmother of Juan Marcos Ocasio and Rebekah Rose Ocasio. Dear sister of Evarista Roman, Delia Maldonado, Jenny Maldonado and Gollita Maldonado. Born in Juncos, Puerto Rico, she came to the mainland in 1952 residing in Paterson. Josefina was a Seamstress for Cairns & Brothers, Clifton before retiring. She was a parishioner of St. John's Cathedral, Paterson, serving there in many capacities including their hospital ministry. Visitation will be Saturday 4-8 PM at Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations to World Vision International would be appreciated.
