Obituary of Angelina Cittrich

Cittrich, Angelina "Jean" (nee Scalzo) age 90 of Totowa at rest peacefully, surrounded by her loving family in Barnegat on January 30, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth A. Cittrich (2005). Loving mother of Karen Hamm and her husband John and the late Kenneth Cittrich (1988), the late Marie Mills (2005) and the late Gary Cittrich (2018). Daughter of the late Joseph Scalzo and the late Catherine (nee Sestinta) Scalzo. Mother-in-law of Tom Mills and Sandra Cittrich. Dear grandmother of Heather Riley and her husband Tom, Jonathan Krill and his wife Stephanie, Marissa Sinforosa anf her husband Josh, Deanna Lentine and her fiance` Andrew, Gary Cittrich and his wife Gina and Dana Cittrich and her fiance` Michael. Great-grandmother of Kayla, Emma, Gianna, John, Briella, Nicholas, Theodore, Sofia, Cameron, Rosalie, Cassandra and Thomas. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Born on October 4, 1933 in Paterson, she lived most of her life in Totowa. She was a cashier for Mr. Cards, in the Willowbrook Mall, Wayne, for ten years, before retiring, where she was well known and loved by everyone there. She was a parishioner of St. James R.C. Church, Totowa. She was a member of two card clubs in Little Falls. She loved to go out and dance as well as go to the movies. She thoroughly enjoyed her exercise group in Totowa and cherished spending time with her daughter, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Mrs. Cittrich enjoyed life to the fullest, with grace and a smile always focusing on the positive. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Monday at 10:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James R.C. Church, Totowa at 10:30 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit Sunday 2:00-6:00 PM.
