Michele Posthumus

It is with deep sorrow that we share the news that our niece Michele passed away at her home on Tuesday, December 26, 2023.

Michele was born February 17, 1966 to Camillia (nee Susani) and John Posthumus. She lived in Totowa and Wayne where she graduated Wayne Valley High School, Class of 1984 before moving to Asbury Park.

Passionate, hardworking, conscientious she worked tirelessly as owner of "Absentee Property Management" and "She's My Ride". Anyone who knew her recognized she had the biggest heart. She cared for those around her, both family and friends.

Devoted family include Aunts Joan Niskach, Roberta Drew, Fatima LaCorte and Uncle, John & Dale Susani and Harry & Carmina Posthumus. Her cousins, Sean & Dana Susani and their children Connor & Juliet, Thomas & Anna Maria Niskach, Jason LaCorte and many other cousins.

Michele enjoyed skiing, golf, swimming and walking on the beach with her dog, Arthur. We were happy that she spent Christmas Eve with her much loved Susani family, where she delighted in playing with her godchild Juliet Mary and brother Connor Michael.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Thursday (January 4, 2024) at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit Wednesday (January 3, 2024) from 4:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home.
