Gennarelli, Carmine age 80 of Toms River at rest in Toms River on December 22, 2023. Beloved husband of fifty nine years to the former Elizabeth C. Marchese of Toms River, formerly of Totowa. Loving Father of Steven Gennarelli and his wife Michelle of Totowa, Charles Gennarelli and his wife Denise of Saddle Brook and the late Carmine Gennarelli (2020). Father in law of Diane Gennarelli of Greenville, S.C. Dear grandfather of Gianna Quadara and her husband Luigi, Steven Gennarelli, Anthony Gennarelli, Danielle Gennarelli, Gabriella Gennarelli, Joseph Gennarelli, Ashley Gennarelli, Brittney Gennarelli and Courtney Gennarelli. Great grandfather of Giavanna Quadara and Luigi Carmine Quardara. Brother of Marlene Gennarelli of Toms River. Uncle of Melissa Kwiecinski and Brian Kakalec. Born in Paterson, he lived in Paterson and Totowa for most of his life before moving to Toms River five years ago. He was a Shipping and Receiving Clerk for Coral Dyeing & Finishing Co., Paterson, for many years before retiring in 2010. Carmine was a former parishioner of Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church, Paterson. He was a member of the Dyers Local Union # 1733, Paterson. He was an avid bowler and competed in leagues. He also loved golf and used to be a Caddy. He also enjoyed trips to Atlantic City. Carmine was a true family man and was always available for all of his grandchildren and all of their sporting events, activities and milestones. He cherished any time that he had to spend with them. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2023 at 7:30 PM. Friends may visit on Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2023 from 4:00-8:00 PM. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis. Tenn. 38105 and/or Emerson Rose Heart Foundation, P.O. Box 935, Clemson, S.C. 29633 would be appreciated.
