Obituary of Katherine A. Schroeter

Schroeter, Katherine A. (nee Burgio), age 77 of Totowa at rest in Ridgewood on December 17, 2023. Beloved wife of Peter Schroeter of Totowa. Loving mother of Louis Schroeter and his wife Monica of Goshen, NY and Stephanie Schroeter of Totowa. Dear oma of Matthew and Emily Schroeter. Sister of Lois Burgio and her husband John and the late Carmen Burgio. Sister-in-law of Eileen Burgio. Also survived by many nieces and one nephew. Born in Paterson, she lived in Paterson until 1971, before moving to Totowa. She was the Deputy Court Administrator for the Totowa Municipal Building, Totowa for over twenty years before retiring in 2013. Her family was everything to her. Relatives and friends are invited to visit Thursday 2-4 PM at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa. Funeral is private at the request of the family. In lieu of flowers donations to Eva's Soup Kitchen, 393 Main Street, Paterson, NJ 07501 and /or St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38501 would be appreciated.
