Obituary of David Kidd

Kidd, David "Dave" age 72 of Clifton at rest in Pequannock Twp. on November 10, 2023. Beloved husband of forty seven years to the former Marie M. L'Heritier of Clifton. Loving father of Jennifer M. Kidd of Clifton and Jesse A. Kidd and his wife Erin of Clifton. Dear grandfather of Zachary Kidd, Cole Allen and Lucas Kidd. Brother of Debra Payne of Pompton Plains and Alexis Rice of Sussex. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Born in Paterson, he lived most of his life in Clifton. He was the Operations Manager for Bell' Amore Imports, Linden, for many years before retiring in 2020. David was a parishioner of St. Phillip the Apostle R.C. Church, Clifton. He enjoyed tending to his vegetable garden and canned and preserved the harvest. He loved to cook. He was an avid NY Mets and NY Jets fan. He traveled to Cape Cod every year for summer vacation where he enjoyed clamming. He frequented Maruca's Pizza in Seaside Heights and enjoyed trips to Atlantic City. He also enjoyed cruising. David cherished any time spent with his grandsons and his family. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at 9:15 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Philip the Apostle R.C. Church, Clifton at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 from 4:00-8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tenn. 38105 would be appreciated.
