Obituary of Virginia Ingenito

Ingenito, Virginia (nee D'Amelio), age 79 of Wyckoff on November 5, 2023. Loving mother of Charles Ingenito of Wyckoff. Dear grandmother of Alec and Anthony Ingenito of Wyckoff. Former wife of the late Charles A. Ingenito (2001). Devoted sister of Josephine Gibilisco of Manchester Township, Cathy Villopoto of Totowa, Biagio D'Amelio of Florida and the late Nunzio, Michele, Angelo, Vito, Antonio, Luigi, Vincenzo, Pasquale and Catherina D'Amelio. Survivors include several nieces and nephews. Born in Sala Consilina, Prov di Salerno, Italy, she came to the United States in 1956 and resided in Paterson. She then lived in North Haledon and Midland Park before moving to Wyckoff. Virginia was a Beautician and owned Chez Charles, Totowa, then Country Club Hair Design, Midland Park and V&V Hair Salon, Midland Park before retiring. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Thursday at 9:15 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at Our Lady of Consolation R.C. Church, Wayne at 10:00 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit Wednesday 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Association, would be appreciated.
