Obituary of Diane N Palazzone

Palazzone, Diane N. age 70 of Paterson at rest in Paterson on March 10, 2023. Dear sister of Marie Palazzone of Paterson and the late Peter Palazzone, Gloria Mulé and Virginia Massood. Sister-in-law of Eileen Palazzone, Joseph Massood and the late Salvatore Mulé. Survivors include many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Born in Paterson, she was a lifelong city resident. She was an employee of State Farm Insurance, Parsippany, for thirty years before retiring. Diane was a lifelong parishioner of Our Lady of Pompeii R.C. Church, Paterson, where she was also a CCD Teacher for their First Holy Communion Class, a member of their Social Committee, and President of their Rosary Society. She was also a member of the St. John Vianney/St. Elizabeths of Hungary Fraternity, OFS and its Treasurer for nine years. She loved to travel and her favorite place was Disney. She also loved to read and enjoyed music, Broadway plays, the opera, and fine dining. She always wore a beautiful smile. She was a very prayerful, compassionate, loving and very charitable person. She was always willing to help others. She will be missed deeply by her sister, family, and all who knew her. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Thursday at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at Our Lady of Pompeii R.C. Church, Paterson at 10:00 AM. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit Wednesday 4:00 - 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to Our Lady of Pompeii Church R.C. Church, 70 Murray Avenue, Paterson, NJ 07501, would be appreciated.
