Aunt Dru,
I will miss our phone conversations, where we would cover quite a range of subjects, from baseball to politics and everything in between. And how you would say a bad word now and then, then tell me how you forget I'm your nephew because you think of me as your friend. And you were my friend.
When I watch The Mets this year I will know that you are watching with my mother and reliving your Brooklyn Dodger days. That will make me smile.
Rest in Peace.

Rest in peace Aunt Dru. Could always remember you reading my horoscope. We are both capricorns. I haven't seen you in many years but will always remember you. The Kaprowski family was very fond of you. You will be missed.
Sincerely,
Karen Kaprowski Blauvelt

John & Tina. I am so sorry for your loss but I am so happy I got to know your mother/grandmother. We shared almost 40 yrs of great conversations, family gatherings, so much laughter & some tears. I will always think of Aunt Dru when I watch a Met's game. I admired her passion for sports, politics & astrology. Above all that she loved, she loved her family first She was so proud of you, John, & you, Tina. May your father/grandfather be waiting at the gates of heaven to welcome her home.

Grandma,
The memories we have shared will never be forgotten. You filled my life up with a lot of love and light. You weren’t just my grandmother, you were my best friend. The long talks on the phone and the laughs we shared will forever be cherished in my heart. I hope you’re now able to “ jump the waves” as you would always say because you loved the ocean. I will always remember the way you loved astrology, the Mets, strawberry ice cream, melona bars, animals, people, and your friends and family. I love you so much always and forever.
Love,
Tina

I am so sorry about your mom and grandmother. I have so many good memories of our family being together. I am sure that she is with your dad and grandfather, as well as her parents and my parents. There will never be anyone like her, she was one in a million. Take care Aunt Dru, rest easy.
Love, Terry

Dru you were an amazing light in this dark world. Your passion for animals, good food, your astrology and the Mets and the way you made me laugh, I will never forget. My one regret is we never got to NYC. I love you and know you are finally at peace.
Love Lisa.

John,
I am so sorry to hear about your Mom. I worked with her at Thomas' for several years. I still spoke to her several times a year. She was quite a character. I will truly miss my conversations with her. May she rest in peace.
