Obituary of Anthony Cosmo Zaccaro

On Saturday, January 21st, 2023 Anthony Zaccaro of Sussex, New Jersey passed away at the age of 33.

Anthony was born on January 16th, 1990 in Edison, New Jersey to his mother Dawn Selensky and father Raymond Zaccaro. He spent his younger years growing up in both Manville and Avenel New Jersey, riding bikes, playing sports and spending his free time with friends. He began playing little league baseball in Carteret as a little boy, which started a lifelong love for the sport resulting in him playing for many years and even being recruited for an all-star and traveling team. Anthony met his loving fiance Hannah in 2015 and they share 2 beautiful children together, a daughter Brooklynn Rae (5) and a son Raymond Anthony (3 months old). He was the Director of operations at EJD wireless for the last 6 years and cherished every aspect of his job in the telecommunications field immensely. His job was something he worked so hard to accomplish and truly loved what he did and enjoyed the constant ability to learn something new and challenge himself daily.

Anthony was an incredibly passionate man; about everything he did in life. He enjoyed fishing, riding his quad and dirt bike, working on anything with an engine and spending his free time with his family. His children were the greatest loves of his life and his sense of happiness came from providing a beautiful life for his fiancée & children. He was a fierce protector of the ones he loved, an incredible friend always there for anyone who needed him, he would help in any way he could with an unwavering loyalty for his loved ones. He had a laugh and smile that were infectious, he was always the first to make sure everyone was having a good time right along with him. He made sure to live his life to the fullest every chance he got, making sure to only do the things that made him happiest. His family and the life he provided for them were his proudest accomplishment in life, with his incredible job at EJD coming in a close second.

Anthony was predeceased by his father Raymond Zaccaro. He is survived by his mother Dawn Selensky, grandmother Marlene Dias, Fiancée Hannah Delea and their 2 children daughter Brooklynn Rae Zaccaro and newborn son Raymond Anthony Zaccaro. He is also survived by many uncles, aunts and cousins.

A memorial gathering will be held Saturday, January 28th, 2023 at Festa Memorial Funeral Home at 111 Union Blvd. in Totowa, New Jersey from 2-6:00 P.M. A memorial service will commence at 5:00 PM.
