Obituary of Aleta A. Abellar

Abellar, Aleta A. age 60 of Totowa at rest in Paterson on January 9, 2023. Dear sister of Jemma Abellar, Lorna Abellar, Lumen Abellar, Loida Abellar, Helen Abellar, Fatima Nabulan, Rex Abellar, Ray Abellar, Edwin Abellar, and the late Violeta Wiggin, the late Regina Abellar, the late Guia Abellar, and the late Lionel Abellar. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, brothers in-law, sisters in law, grandchildren, relatives, and friends. Born in Iloilo City, Philippines, she lived in the Philippines for 26 years before immigrating to the United States. Once arriving in the US, she resided in Berwick, ME for 4 years before moving to Totowa. She was a Nurse for the Salesian Sisters, Haledon, for the last 20 years. She was also a dentist in the Philippines before leaving for the US. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Saturday at 11:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James RC Church, Totowa at 12:00 PM. Committal at Cedar Lawn Crematory Chapel, Paterson. Friends may visit Friday 2:00 - 6:00 PM.
