Obituary of Francesco Morelli

Morelli, Francesco age 82 of Woodland Park at rest in Wayne on December 1, 2022. Beloved husband of the late and former Giuseppina Convertino (2007). Loving father of Maria A. Dratch and her husband David of Fairfield and Frank Morelli and his wife Lauren of Clifton. Dear grandfather of Alexa Dratch, Ryan Dratch and Emma Morelli. Brother of Antonio Morelli and Mario Morelli, both of Italy and the late Angelo Morelli. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Born in Alberobella, Prov. di Bari, Italy, he came to the U.S.A. in 1970 settling in Paterson, before moving to West Paterson in 1977. He was a Mason Contractor for many years before retiring. Mr. Morelli enjoyed tending to his vegetable garden. He made homemade wine, tomato sauce and pasta. He was a fan of World Soccer. He enjoyed watching RAI on television. He Frequently visited family in Italy and stayed for six months at a time. He vacationed in Wildwood Crest. He was an all around handyman, who built and repaired everything for family and friends. He cherished the time he spent with his family, especially his three grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at 9:15 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James R.C. Church, Totowa at 10:00 AM. Entombment at Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum, Paterson. Friends may visit Monday, December, 5, 2022 from 4:00 - 8:00 PM.
