Obituary of Dorothy A Bensi

Bensi, Dorothy A. (nee Galuszka), age 86 of Paterson at rest in Wayne on November 19, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Louis Bensi. Loving mother of Linda A. Bensi of Paterson, Diane Heese & her husband Peter of Woodland Park and the late Louis M. Bensi. Dear mother-in-law of Laurie Bensi & her son Nicolas. Aunt of Barbara Gibbons. Born in Paterson, she was a lifelong resident. Dorothy was a Payroll Clerk for Home Care Options, Paterson as well as a homemaker. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Mary's R.C. Church, Paterson and was a member of their Rosarians. She enjoyed going to Atlantic City, playing Bingo, and doing "Scratch-Off's". You can always find crocheting, playing her poker game, and doing word search puzzles, as well as routing for the Yankees and watching game shows.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Saturday (December 3, 2022) at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Mary's R.C. Church, Paterson at 9:30 AM. Interment at Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa. Friends may visit Friday (December 2, 2022) from 4-8 PM.
