Obituary of David D Frech

Frech, David D. age 81 of North Haledon at rest in Ridgewood on October 25, 2022. Beloved husband of Barbara (nee Wagner) Frech of North Haledon. Loving father of Sharon Donna Frech and David Edwin Frech, both of North Haledon. Beloved uncle of Donna Sturm, Jason Sturm & his wife Colleen and their son, Declan Sturm; Susan Irwin & her husband Bill and their children, Collin, Morgan and Briana Irwin; and Steven Frech of Palatine, IL. Born in Paterson, he grew up in there, before moving to North Haledon 60 years ago. He was a Lab Technician for BASF Chemical Corporation, Hawthorne for many years before retiring. He was also a part-time custodian for Memorial School in North Haledon. David was a Special Police Officer in North Haledon for almost 10 years. He loved his family and was a devoted and proud husband and father. He loved watching the NY Giants and loved animals, especially his German Shepherd, Georgie-Girl. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the services at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Saturday at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa. Friends may visit Friday 3-7 PM.
