Obituary of Fernando Mallma

Mallma, Fernando age 70 of Haledon at rest in Paterson on October 5, 2022. Beloved husband of Betty (nee Guillen) Mallma of Haledon. Loving father of Giancarlo Mallma & his wife Betty of Bloomfield, Fabiola Handler of Kinnelon and Gonzalo Garcia of Union. Dear grandfather of Sophia, Valentina, Logan, Sebastian and Joel. Also survived by his pet turtle, Cookie. Born in Lima, Peru he lived there for 33 years, before coming to the United States where he resided in Paterson before moving to Haledon in 2007. He was an employee for Ashley Norton, Pompton Lakes for 7 years before retiring in 2022. Fernando was involved in a men's club. He loved to play poker and he also enjoyed traveling to Atlantic City. He loved tennis and soccer. Relatives and friends are invited the visitation at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Saturday from 4:00 – 8:00 PM, with prayer service at 6:30 PM. Cremation will be private.
