Obituary of Anthony Samuel Piscitelli

Piscitelli, Anthony Samuel, age 94 of Pompton Plains, Pequannock Twsp., formerly of Paterson on August 10, 2022. Beloved husband of 61 years to the late Edna Mae (nee Winters) Piscitelli (2012). Loving father of Joanne Calamita & her husband, Thomas of Ringwood and the late Diane Piscitelli (1999). Devoted grandfather of Noelle; Kristin & her husband Jeff; and Thomas & his wife, Maria. Dear great grandfather of Alyssa, Thomas, Noah, Landon & Callie. Dear brother-in-law of Dorothy Piscitelli and Patricia Winters. Survivors include several nieces and nephews. Born in Paterson, he was a lifelong resident before moving to Pompton Plains in 2021. He was an Engineering Analyst for Curtiss Wright, Lodi, then for John Deere before retiring. Anthony was a devoted father, husband, grandfather and great grandfather. He served in the United States Marine Corps and his professional experience included working on rockets for the Apollo space program as an engineering analyst. His favorite activities included playing cards, fishing and bowling. He enjoyed traveling with his family to the Jersey shore and Maine. Funeral services have been canceled and postponed until further notice. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
