Obituary of Thomas LoPorto

LoPorto, Thomas age 68 of Woodland Park at rest in Pequannock Twp. on July 5, 2022. Beloved husband of Elaine (nee Lindley) LoPorto. Loving father of Thomas "TJ" LoPorto, and Maryanne LoPorto of Ringwood. Dear brother of Phyllis Paventa and her husband Anthony of Totowa, Emanuel LoPorto and his wife Kathy of Brick, and Robert LoPorto and his wife Lynn of TN. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. Born in Paterson, he lived in Paterson, before moving to Woodland Park 26 years ago. He was a Truck Driver for Opici Wines, Glen Rock, for 8 years before retiring in 2017. Prior to that he also worked construction for many years. Mr. LoPorto was a prior member and current alumni of the Hawthorne Caballeros. He was also an active member in the American Legion Rider's Post #174. He loved his family especially his nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He loved to eat pasta and he enjoyed watching wrestling and other sports. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Saturday at 9:15 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James RC Church, Totowa at 10:00 AM. Cremation at Cedar Lawn Crematory, Paterson. Friends may visit Friday from 4:00 - 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, would be appreciated.
