Dear son of Vincent and Antonia (nee Cantillo) Bruno of Ringwood. Brother of Frank Bruno of Wanaque, Giancarlo Bruno and his wife Grace of OK, Marisa Bruno of Totowa and Silvana Kaminski and her husband Edward of Haskell. Significant Other of Monica Wallace of TX. Former husband of Colleen Bruno. Lifetime role model to Nicholas Russo, best friend of Nicholas Bruno, of Morris Plains. Robert is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Born in Paterson, he lived in Paterson, Wanaque, then Morris Plains before moving to McKinney, TX. He was a Senior Project Manager Data Center Strategic Design and Solutions for Iron Mountain, Boston, MA. He was also the Vice President of Construction for Compass Data Centers, the Director of Sales and Engineering for Digital Realty, and the Director of Solutions and Engineering for Cyrus One. Robert was a member of the BMW Car Club of America as well as the Porsche Club of America. He was a big fan of Formula 1 racing but what he really enjoyed was racing at track events. He was especially known for the joy he brought into everyone's life, how his smile was like sunshine in a room, how much he loved his family and that his children meant everything to him. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa on Saturday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James R.C. Church, Totowa at 9:30 AM. Entombment at Laurel Grove Cemetery Mausoleum, Totowa. Friends may visit Friday from 4-8 PM.
