Obituary of Lawrence Sperling

Sperling, Lawrence age 64 of Totowa at rest in Passaic on April 10, 2022. Loving father of Nicholas Sperling of Glen Gardener and Michael Sperling of Bloomingdale. Dear son of Frank Sperling of Totowa and the late Lorraine (nee Wosinski) Sperling. Also survived by his long-time companion, Laura Leschynski of Garfield. Born in Washington, DC, he lived in Butler before moving to Totowa 35 years ago. He was a Heavy Equipment Operator for Salomone Brothers, Inc., Wayne before retiring. Larry was a member of the Totowa Boro Fire Department, Lincoln Fire Company and was past Department Chief. He was a former Assistant Scout Master for the Boy Scouts of America, Troop #4, Butler. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Tuesday at 9:00 AM. Funeral mass to follow at Sts. Peter & Paul National Catholic Church, 126 River Dr., Passaic at 10:00 AM. Interment at East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton. Friends may visit Monday 4-8 PM.
