Barbieri, Joseph Francis, Sr., age 92, of Louisville, CO, at rest in Englewood, CO, on March 28, 2022. Former husband of the late Pearlann (nee Peslin) Barbieri (2014). Loving father of Patricia A. O'Connor and her husband, Martin; Irene B. Saley and her husband, Gary P. Scalcucci; and Julie F. Browne, all of CO; and Joseph F. Barbieri, Jr., and his wife, Jane; and Roger C. Barbieri, and his wife, Janice, both of NJ. Loving grandfather of grandchildren Caitlin and Bryan; Jeanne and Elizabeth; Joseph F. Barbieri, III, and Emily; and Zachary, Nicholas, and Tanner. Loving great-grandfather of great grandchildren Charles and Jack; McKenna; and Whitaker. Brother of Anthony Barbieri and his wife, Norma, of TX; and loving brother to Bookie Constantino and his wife, Patricia, of FL. Also survived by several nieces nephews. Predeceased by his sister, Jessie (nee Barbieri) Gambatese (1999), and her husband, Michael Gambatese (1994), Totowa, NJ. Born in Paterson, NJ; he lived his life in Wayne, NJ, before moving to Colorado in June of 2020. He was the President of J.F. Barbieri Associates, Totowa, NJ, for many years before retiring in 2002. Mr. Barbieri was a Coast Guard Reserve Veteran and a NJ Licensed Registered Land Surveyor and Professional Planner. He enjoyed time spent with his family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was also a fan of the old Brooklyn Dodgers, an avid reader, a Civil War buff, and enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and reading the Sunday comics. Proverbs 22:28 Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Boulevard, Totowa, NJ on Tuesday at 10:30 A.M. Funeral Mass to follow at Our Lady of Pompeii R.C. Church, Paterson, NJ, at 11:00 A.M. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa, NJ. Friends may visit Monday from 4-8 P.M.
