Obituary of Irene Coppa

In loving memory of Irene Coppa, 90, of Wayne New Jersey, who passed away on March 23^rd.  Irene was the wife of the late Jerry J Coppa.  Mother of Steven M. Coppa, Christine Coppa-Weick, Ellen Coppa and Gerald Coppa.  Grandmother of Alyssa Decker, Kristen Reilly, AJ and Nicole Weick, Chaz Coppa and Joseph and Christopher Coppa.  Great Grandmother of Bennett and Pierce Decker.

Irene was born in Harrison, New Jersey in 1931 and was a long-time resident of Wayne.  She was employed at American Cyanamid Company as an Executive Assistant in the ISO Division for many years.  Irene appreciated the arts and attended many Broadway shows and operas.  She enjoyed listening to classical music and played the piano.  She especially loved playing pieces by Chopin and Liszt.  Irene also loved traveling with her husband, Jerry and spending time with her family and friends.  However, the greatest joy in her life was raising her four children and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She was a wonderful mother and friend and will be greatly missed. All services are private at the request of the family.  Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa is in charge of arrangements.
